About The New Jersey Grappling Championships and The Philadelphia Grappling Championships
The New Jersey Grappling Championships evolved in 2006 to meet the demand for a quality, competetive and affordable tournament circuit for athletes in the tri-state area and beyond. This is a tournament created by grapplers, for grapplers. As such, we aim to eliminate the typical problems associated with other tournaments--high prices, long wait times, and exceptionally large brackets. Quality competitors, not Quantity, is what we strive to have at our events.
Features of The NJGC and The PGC include world-class professional divisions and Superfights and championship belts for advanced and absolute division winners. There is also a system in place that puts absolute division winners into future pro divisions.
Our Pro-Divisions freature World Champions, Abu Dhabi Competitors and Pan Am Champions. We cut no corners on bringing the best talent in the world to our events. We believe a tournament should be an experience that doesn't end when you compete in your last match. We want you to enjoy yourself as a spectator as well.
