As a church, our deepest desire is to totally and completely please God and give all the glory to Him. Whether it is in praise and worship or in our daily lives, we believe it is important to glorify, lift up, and exalt the King of kings. We were created to worship God, and as a church we wish to fulfill the purpose of our creation.
At HUPC, we endeavor to have the best and newest music mixed with the old songs and hymns and spiritual songs from our past. We want our music to portray to our Creator our willingness to worship Him, and we want our praises to ascend into his throne room as a pleasing service and a sweet smelling savor. We do not have music to entertain man, but to usher us into the presence of God and to please him. We do not want any of the praise to go towards us, but up unto God.
God has blessed HUPC with amazingly anointed singers and musicians. Every Sunday and Wednesday they lead the congregation into the realm of God with worship to and for only Him.
