Partially due to the quote (and many more just like it) above, and partially due to the fact that it is estimated that: "Many traditional Christian populations know nothing of personal faith, true repentance from sin and a trust in the finished work of Christ for their salvation. It is estimated that 1.2 billion (60%) of all Christians, are nominal and non-practising 'Christians'; I am going to be revising this site to give a good (non-denominational) survey of ALL Old and New Testament books as well as prepare a list of presentations via DVD to give away FREE in the future, (so please check back). *It is very sad how little Christians know about Christ, Christianity or the Bible as a whole, so I am going to be changing this site to go through a good/solid survey of all 66 books of the Bible as well as videos/presentations to help make them understandable and to the point. Personally I am a historian/philosopher/theist, but I am going to attempt to simply give the "facts" vs. my own bias opinions during this process as well as the presentations; so therefore anyone who might be interested in learning more (atheist/agnostic/other relgion/Christ-ian) about what "Christ-ianity" really means will be able to access this information.

 Sadly, as RC Spoul has pointed out - there has never been a time when so many Christians (per capita) has known so little about their faith. They have abandoned training up the youth of our day to be prepared for the growing secular world around them and themselves, and chooses to send them out amongst the wolves of the world, (but opposite of 1 Peter 3:15), unprepared for the attacks they are bound to face *that are easily enough answeed if they have at least a base of aplogetics training. Alas, the current trend of 40% of all Christian youth leaving their faith after 4 years of secular college life will continue to grow if Christ-ians continue to stay iggnorant of the faith they profess.
I pray that this site will be of assistance, as well as the future site of www.TheLollards.org (which will go thru a survey level of every book of the Old & New Testaments).
Food for thought that really hit me - Isn't Christianity a word that was first used in Antioch (Acts) to describe a group of people that were so "like" Christ? Can we answer "why" we are Christians and what that even means?
The scary reality is becoming more clear that when Jesus said:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21)
As you may have seen from Ben Stein's recent documentary EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed ; science, philosophy, astronomy, cosmology, physics, bio-chemistry, geology, etc., are pointing more and more, to the fact that there "must be a Designer/Architect."  Secondly, who is this "Designer?" I encourage each of us to look at the facts, study, research, meditate, pray, etc. -I think we will see that the facts all line up that there is indeed a "God" and that is the God that Christ Jesus told us of.

This "Expelled" is not limited to academia unfortunately, even many churches continue to Expell many who do not comform to their doctrines and sometimes dogmas; we need unity now more than ever - (please see www.TheLollards.org for more information).
*But this is a journey and decision you have to make for yourselves, all I can do it present you with some facts and research to help you on your journey; But if there is one-millionth of a chance this is all true, there is nothing more important for you to consider and act on now.

*A great video from an Agnostic (one who says "I simply don't know if there is a God,") on the logical fallacies of atheism and evolution; it greatly summarizes the point of this website that we ALL need to be willing to strive for "Truth" and not just our own prejudices. In other words - deists, theists, agnostics, atheists; and within those other relgions - is your religion true because you say it is, or do you say it is true, because it is true? If one has the audacity to say they "believe" something, then they need to know what that belief is.
 I make no qualms that I am a follower of Christ; and that being said, I have studied the sciences/philosophies/religions, etc, and the only one that fills in all the gaps, is that of Christianity. While I agree "church-ianity" and hypocrisy does not equate out to "Christ," the faults of the church do not dim the truth of Christ.
Moreover - I really believe this, therefore I have not choice but to tell others of it, for I truly care about them, and feel compelled to share in any way and by any means possible; while I am not interested in coercing anyone to "think like I think," I am interested in simply sharing the simple message of Christ in retrospect to all worldviews, and show why this hope is truly available to all who would not reject it, and encourage other believers to do the same.
Being a Discovery Society Member, I have had the honor of attending the leading Intelligent Design movement's yearly "behind the scenes" meeting, and it indeed was an insightful treat. I was able to talk with many individuals there on the topic that will shape our very future. Academic Freedom Day:
On Charles Darwin's 200th birthday (Every February 12), students everywhere can speak out against censorship and stand up for free speech by defending the right to debate the evidence for and against evolution.
