Certified Phlebotomist/freelance writer from Midwest is interested in writing a book on a variety of topics that revolve around Phlebotomy; that great art of drawing blood. We're looking for a few good stories to include in the book - Do you have a funny anecdote to share? Or Did you feel the need to vent? A patient or blood donor made (or ruined) your day? Don't worry, we will use first names only, your job title and what state or country you're from.

At this point, we do not want to hinder you with rules - as long as you stay resonably on-topic.
Or, if you just can't wait, submit your story anyway and maybe you'll pique our interest enough to add a new chapter. Our first topics are:
1. Stories that touch the heart
2. Most Annoying Patient ever!
3. Strangest requests given by patient before, during or after blood draw
4. Most Difficult draw ever
Okay, okay. We do have a FEW rules. Stories should be no longer than 500 words. You MUST be 18 to submit. Please reference the topic you're writing about and give us your contact information. Name and e-mail address is fine. Should we select your story to be included in the book, we will contact you to complete a rights release form. Compensation will be receiving a complimentary copy of the book
To submit your story or if you have any questions: email directly to phlebtales@writeme.com
