THE LOVE HE SAVED INTRODUCTION

What if you were the ugliest girl in school and nobody believed you would amount to anything? What if you were so ugly that the boys at school paid you to go home? Guess what…That is what happened to Frankie Mae Tyson in 1973 before she met the Superstar, Michael Jackson - who would change her life forever.
A few months before graduation from high-school Frankie is forced out of school by bullies in 1973 when she gets the name of a Jackson-Five song wrong. After expulsion -Frankie never wavered in her love for Michael Jackson. She continued to hope that one day she’d actually meet and fall in love with Michael Jackson.
And then it happened. One brisk evening in the early 80’s Frankie Mae is in the right place at the right time when she meets Michael Jackson on a crowded Santa Monica Freeway. The caveat is Frankie is just the girl that Michael Jackson has been looking for. Earlier the entertainer sees Frankie’s class photo in a deserted San Francisco store window and from there on he spends a great deal of his busy time trying to locate the simple girl in the class sweater from the vacant store window.
When the King of Pop recognizes Frankie Mae having car trouble on the crowded freeway, he is elated. For the Pop Star and the ghetto girl - the connection is immediate and the union will last more than twenty-years. For a man whose life centered on controversy - his relationship with the understated ghetto girl Frankie Mae, ends up being the most fluid thing in his life. Determined to love Michael for his soul; not for his fame - Frankie Mae consistently turns down the entertainer’s offers to put her up like a star. Knowing intimately that Michael needed her love - Frankie succeeds in this union by staying her sweet ghetto self. In turn, Michael loves his Frankie Mae terribly; from making Kool-Aide for her two boys to sneaking in undetected to her special “Security Guard of the Month” event at work - Michael is truly in love with Frankie Mae. Alternately - Frankie’s ghetto gets out of hand enough for Michael Jackson to fire handlers that can’t deal with the officious mannerisms of his secret, most true love.
