POW/MIA RECOGNITION DAY

SOUTH BEND MILITARY HONOR PARK

 I attended the POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony Saturday Sept 28th at the
Military Honor Park at the South Bend Airport..
This is an important event honoring and recognizing the POWs and MIAs of all
our wars including the Cold War.
There was a great turn out this year almost double last year.
It is important to remember those who never returned from the wars and are not
accounted for. Also important is those who not only served and battled in those
wars but spent time as a Prisoner Of War.
We are so busy now days we need to take a moment out to think of these in hopes
we can prevent some of this in the future and bring attention to it from our
politicians.
