Craig Patrick Haddock resides in the state of Michigan where he grew up amid plentiful lakes, beautiful creeks, numerous streams and rivers. It was during those many soulful outings, amid the rich fishing waters of the region, Craig’s passion for fishing was born and the love of fly fishing was nurtured. Years of experience has yielded incredible brown trout, brookies, rainbows, steelhead, and salmon. Fishing Wyoming’s Yellowstone Region, Arkansas’ White River, the Wisconsin Coulees, New Brunswick, and the plentiful waters of Michigan has honed Craig’s skill of presentation and his mastery of the battle; and has filled his photo albums with memories. Craig believes that there is nothing better than hooking into a hard fighting salmon or a trophy size brown trout. To fight one of these majestic fish, to witness its strength and beauty, then release it to fight again is an experience unlike any other.
Appreciation for the art of fly fishing lends itself easily to an appreciation for that which entices the elusive game. The angler who treasures the poetic grace of the fly fishing experience will usually recognize the same in the exquisite beauty of the embellished hook. And so it was that Atlantic Salmon Fly Artisan came into being. Using exquisitely colored feathers, silks, tinsel, and more, Craig creates unique Atlantic salmon flies which he beautifully frames in his signature style.
