Had my 10/22 shortened, sight moved back, threaded & re-crowned with the sparrow o-ring extension. The work is artisan awesome. Price was excellent and turn time was quick. It doesn't get any better than this.

JP Grips has threaded seven barrels for me and is doing my Mossberg 144 now. Everything is top-notch. The guns he has done are some of my favorites to shoot.

Bought a thread protector for a Beretta 92 and a 10/22 bull barrel. Both times Jim shipped quickly and the product was top notch. Will use him for all my threading needs!

Just got by MKlll Barrel/receiver back form Jim and and was blown away by the quality and fir of the work. The line between the barrel and thread protector is invisible. The machining is excellent +++. Very happy with finished piece and received it in 3 weeks time. Thank Jim.

Was curious if you would do a Remington 552 BDL and if it is possible to do it so that a suppressor would not interfere with the magazine tube as well as what you would charge while keeping the sight on the gun and perhaps relocating it?

I did quite a bit of research and decided to send my two Savage rifles to Jp Grips to be cut down and threaded. I have an eye for detail and must say that the work was simply perfect ... probably better than if the rifles had been done that way from the factory. Superb workmanship. It is a pleasure to send your fire arms to someone who takes such pride in his work. Thank you.

As expected, I received my Remington 597 barrel back from Jim about 4 weeks after I mailed it to him. I had the barrel cut back to 16.25" and threaded, a thread protector was also ordered as insurance for my newly threaded barrel. What I didn't expect was the accuracy my new "shorty" barrel was capable of... every bit as accurate as it was at 20", possibly even a little better now! Superb crown job, Jim!!! I'll be send my stainless 597 barrel in for the same treatment soon.

This was my first time getting a barrel threaded. I did my research and decided to go with Jim (JP Grips and Machine). I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!! I will be sending my 5.56 Barrel to be threaded as soon as I break the gun down. I'm thinking of threading all my guns.... LOL.... Thank you Jim for the EXCELLENT WORK!!!!

This was the first time I had custom work done to one of my firearms and not only was the work done outstanding, but the level of involvement on Jim's part throughout the entire process was both unexpected and completely appreciated. Coupled with a quick turnaround time,I'll be sending my barrels to Minnesota from now on.

Jim has done many barrels for me, always in good time and a perfect job and center to the bore. I even had a "special" skinny barrel that needed figuring out and was very important to me and forgot to tell him that the adapter needed to be small enough for the barrel nut (not sent) to go over,,,well He must have known because it was spot on!
Sending another out today! LOL!

Had a 10/22 and a Buckmark barrel threaded by Jim, they are both awesome!, Jim called me when he was working on the Buckmark and suggested a black thread protector would be a nice contrast and he was right. If you want a real Professional to work on your beloved firearms look no further than Jim.
