On October 17th we had a special evening of fun and fellowship with our Scottish brother and sisters from Carluke,Scotland     Alex Abbott ,a flute composer, tried his hand at the dulcimer while we all DID NOT try ours at the flute!Instructed here by Sue Lane Helton as to where to "put your finger" !

The Evening began innocently enough as we all sat down together to have a meal prepared by our hostess,Amy Fletcher,(in the red shirt) wife of former Carson-Newman foootball standout Shawn Fletcher.     (Go EAGLES!)

 Alex is a future dulcimer player as evident by the following photo captured by Shawn Fletcher.

  The "parting shot" as they say in the biz. We all had a great time and we'll add more photos as we get them from various cameras!
