We require a $200 Deposit per day per guide when you make your reservation.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your trip within 10 days of its date, and we cannot rebook the date we expect full payment for the trip. If we can rebook the guide, the deposit is your only payment. Deposits are not refundable or transferable. If the guide cancels the trip based on saftey issues or weather we will issue a credit for future service.
What you need to bring for your
fly fishing trip
We supply almost everything you’ll need on your fly fishing trip. The following is a list of a few personal items that you’ll need to bring. Feel free to email us or call us if you have any questions.
1) Fishing license (if you need a fishing license, it can be ordered online at the Michigan DNR Site, and you can also purchase a license at local license sales location)

2) Warm clothes (fleece and wool are ideal). Even the summer nights can get cool here in

Gloves for fishing in the cold
Hat or ball cap
Rain gear
Waders
Wading boots – (wet wade or use to get in and out of boat)
Warm socks & extra socks
Long sleeve shirt
Cool shirt if fishing during warm periods

Although our trips provide most of the fishing equipment you will need, you’re welcome to bring extras or your own equipment - here are some ideas:
Polarized sunglasses (these will allow you to look into water that would otherwise be obscured by glare)
Camera (for recording that trophy catch)
Chap Stick
Sunscreen
Hand/foot warmers
Extra layers
Extra clothes for after the trip
Extra snacks/drinks (we’ll provide the meal, but you’re welcome to bring whatever you’d like)
Your own rod and reel (or you’re welcome to use ours)
Your own flies (or we can supply them for a charge)
