REVIVAL

UPDATE!!!

Bishop Dale Collins

Praise the Lord everybody!

Revival is coming right a long real well.  Good crowd of local folks last night with service on Both Monday and Tuesday nights lasting til after 10 p.m.  Everyone in the building prayed last night and one claimed the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues.  One new lady fell out under the power as prayer was made for her.  Some shouted and danced in the Spirit as the glory of the Lord came down.  One lady was Baptized in Jesus Name in the Arkansas River on Saturday and I feel like some more will soon follow her example.
We are looking forward to tonight's service to see what the Lord will do!

Come be apart of this real revival if you Can at all.  Pray for us either way.

Sincerely,

Bishop Dale Collins

P.S.  I must correct myself.  We have announced that Pastor Robbie Darnell would be here Thur Friday Night and I was mistaken.  Our wonderful evangelist Pastor Robbie Darnell will be here ministering thru Thursday night here at Mount Zion.  He will start another meeting on Friday night in Charlotte TN and we will continue the revival on here in Conway on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.  I am sorry for the mix up. FAITH BUILDING REVIVAL REPORT

Posted 2-10-09
This years annual Faith Building Revival Crusade has come and gone and only time will tell the full effects of it.  You can't go wrong teaching faith because it is faith that moves God.  We had several to come out to the services each night and we are glad to report that several were first time visitors that we can work with in the future.  I taught on "Speaking the Word" for several nights.  Then I taught on "the importance of repentance and forgiveness to be healed!"  We closed out the meeting by teaching on "Faith for Our Needs" the last two services.  We hope to have some of the tapes ready to be put out by this summer.  We are now moving forward here planning our next event to reachout to new people.  Also, we will be working on this summers 3 in 1 event which is our CAMPMEETING, FAMILY CAMP, & YOUTH CAMP.  Unless the board were to change the dates it will start as usual on the Monday night after Father's Day in June.  A special thank you for all of those of you that helped us pray for this meeting.  I know that God will reward you for it.

Sincerely,

Bishop Collins

P.S.  We plan by the help of the Lord to travel to some of the Churches in the next few months to promote this years camp.  If you would like for us to come to your Church for a special service please contact us now as slots are limitted.

FAITH CITY CHRISTIAN CAMP
WORK UPDATE

POSTED 4-27-09

Work has resumed at Faith City Christian Camp.  Almost all of the camp has beeb mowed.  We have one new staff member that will be donated to Mount Zion and Faith City Christian Camp thru the meeting to help in what ever ways are needed.  He will use the weedeater this week.  We would like to praise the Lord that our roof crew removed the last of the old shingles from the roof on the old dorm and felted in in the dry.  A new TAN metal roof was installed on the front half of the building today.  The rest is soon to follow.  Nine men put in a long day working at the camp today.  Again, thank you for your prayers and support in this verry worthwhile project.  Bishop Collins  P.S.  Daily and weekly updates and post will be added from now till camp time in late June.  Check back often to keep up with what is going on at the camp.

Work will resume at Faith City Christian Camp by mid-April.  The main goals will be to get the camp back together for this years camp including finishing last years projects.  Thank you for your prayers and support for this very worthwhile project.

POSTED JANUARY 13th,2009

Some work is still being done inspite of the cold weather.  We are preparing for another real cold spell at the camp.  We have now made and installed the metal flashing to tie the new metal roofs in to the old original roof so that they will not leak.  We have continued to install new metal roofing on the outside walls of the new 1600 square foot addition.  We are about 75 percent done with the outside walls.  Things are looking real good...just wishing some of you were here.  Can't hardly wait until this years camp to see everybody and to get to worship God with you.

Just a note of thanks to Tom & Carrol Benzen and Little Arron for their help on December 25th working at the camp.  Much progress has been made in the last few days as we push hard here at the end of 2008.  The big freeze did come and it got down to around 10 degrees at the camp.  We praise God that nothing froze up.  We are gaining ground with our plan to have a camp that can be used year around.  In the past three days and nights we have cleaned up and burned alot of trash, poured concrete for another shower, installed the metal walls for shower # 2.  Worked on the sink and wiring in two rest rooms and wired a light in the new hall way.  The metal was installed on the outside of the west addition including 2 restrooms, 2 hallways, and the new snack bar.  This made a very big difference in the way that the camp appears.  Much insulation has been installed and the plywood has been put up on the inside walls of several rooms and the walls in the snack bar have been completed.  It is amazing to see how much progress has been made since the camp.  We are shooting to have all of these 1600 square feet of new additions completed by Feburary.  That is our goal.  Plans on the remodeling of the dorm and the new addition of 10 new bedrooms and 2 new restrooms are still underway and we look forward to moving right on to this project when we finish up at the main camp building.  Thank you again for your prayers and support.   Together we are making a big difference and what we are doing right now at the camp is work that will not have to be redone for years to come.

Sincerely Bishop Collins & Family

Previous post:

Just a short note to update all of you good folks on the progress that is being made at Faith City Christian Camp.  Some members of our roof crew have been pushing hard to get all of the 1600 new square feet of buildings in the dry and weatherized before a real hard freeze hits.  It has got down to 25 here already and we made it alright.  How cold could it get before we get into trouble is a real good question that I don't won't to know the answer to.

We have NOW put up plywood on the ceilings of all of the four new restrooms and the new main master bedroom.  We are ready to wire this building and install the ceiling tiles and blow in the insulation in the attic.  We are also ready to install the insulation in the insides walls.  The entire outside of the building has been wrapped with R-10 space age wrap.  We have cut through the north wall into the fellowship hall and are ready to install the two new inside doors.  This part of the expansion project is coming right along real good.  Thanks for your praying and giving to help make it all happen.

We will next install the outside walls in wrapped insulation as well as the main inside walls on the rest of the new projects.  We are just about ready to install the new metal roofing that will be used for metal siding on all of these buildings.  We are planning to be done with the outside of these buildings by the end of the year.  We should have eight restrooms up and running by the end of the year.  Next years camp sure will glad!

God has been so good to us to keep us going when it looked like that could not and would not make it.     God made the way time and time again.  It looks like that we will again be have a few Camp work days at the end of the year and the first of next year.  Some of you might want to keep this in mind as donated labor is the greatest need the camp has at this time.

Sincerely,

Bishop Collins & Family

One of the salesman at Whitt Davis Lumber Plus has donated $200.00 toward the insulation at Faith City Christian Camp.  Even though this is only a drop in the bucket to what is needed we praise God for it and ask that you join in with us in THANKING GOD for His wonderful help at the camp this year.  He has sustained us again!

NEW COMPUTER PURCHASED!

Recently our main computer crashed and we were told that we would loose everything on it.  "I know that you are supposed to back everything up" but we didn't.  We now have our long time friend Brother Mike Moncrief working on saving all of our old info off and transferring it to the new computer.  Please pray that God will give us favor and help him get it done.  Thanks for being our friend, Brother Moncrief.  Bishop Collins

P.S.  The new computer is up and running great.  In the long run we will have two almost new computers for the office.  We are still four or five  short to what we would like to have but we have way more than we used to have.   Join with us in giving God glory for His help in this matter.

We THANK GOD for sparing the water pipes at Faith City Christain Camp this winter.  It got down to around 8 degrees and everything made it just fine.  We have come a long ways toward insulating all the areas that have water pipes so the camp can be used year around.  2-22-09

We received a one thousand dollar donation to go toward the new metal roof on the main dorm at Faith City Christian Camp.  We thank God for using people to meet the needs of His children.  4-27-09
