My transgender journey began many years ago without my even knowing it, having grown up in a medical family (my dad is a doctor) and being surrounded by mostly open minded people I have always enjoyed learning about all the different ways humans live.  At the same time much of the confusion, the prejudice and misperceptions of the day have only held me back.  By this I mean that I have known about transsexuals since high school and it scared the heck out of me.  In the last few years it seems like so much progress has been made in understanding transsexuals and/or transgenderism.  This is most likely a reflection of my own understanding and acceptance of my gift.  The web-pages that follow are my own personal picks so accept them as an opinion, not an endorsement.
