George Nathaniel Stines born about 1837 married his first young wife sometime around or before 1853. They had three children together. Their middle child, James Berry Stines born 1856 is the Great Grandfather to Ruby P. Stines.
So it's been told that Mary N. Boyd Stines died. After her death George married and second time and then a third. There is not actual record of a divorce from his second wife, Harriett Massey. Both Harriett Massey and George's third wife, Babary filed for his pension from the war.
