Talked to Arnulfo about a 3 year old, Poco Bueno Stallion, I found. Bought him for $500.00. We have some raffle tickets comming and we can raffle him for $10.00 a ticket, and put the money in the fund. All I want in the money I paid for him, the cost of feeding and boarding him, and a little for for training. He was really green. Took four of us put a halter on him and get him in the trailer. Arnulfo thinks it is a good idea. With 500 tickets, we should net between $3,500.00 and $4,000.00.

I am opening a pay pal account for donations to the injured charro fund. The Charro who was injured in Katy, did not have a broken neck. His eye socket was destroyed. He has already had two surgeries. So he really needs some help.

A charro from Rancho Los Compadres, suffered a serious injury, during the State Finals. We need to do something. Arnulfo suggest a raffle. We need to help him. He may have a broken neck. He has already has surgery.

 Hola, cada vez que tengo tiempo asisto a las charreadas y me encantan,pero megustaria recalcar algo muy importante,,,,para los organizadores de las charreadas o los duenos de los lienzos ,,,que se compadescan del publico y se rieguen los lienzos,es muy desagradable no poder disfrutar las charreadas.Gracias.

Jaime Castruita Padilla, Presidente de La Federacion, came to the meeting of the Charros del Sur, last night. He discussed the current state of affairs of Charreria and the the need to work together to preserve Charreria. He appreciated the fact that for 17 years, the animal rights activist had been able to to pass anti-charro legislation, almost without opposition and that in just this year, three states were not deceived by the fanatics lies, because of the combined efforts of the PRCA and the Charros. He also ask about upcoming events and mentioned how important Texas is to Charreria. The Charros del Sur, are grateful for his support and input.
