To Zona Norte and Raul, I have removed your messages, because they do not have a name and phone number. There have been a few immature and mean spirited persons who have posted nonsense on this board and because of that we require a name and some way to prove who left the message. Raul, in answer to your question, there is no Houston Calendar that I know of. If they make one, It will be posted. If you go to the Texas Teams and Phone Numbers link, you can find a team from Houston and get the information.

I was asked to put the message board back up to congratulate the Charros de Bejar also known as the Charros del Sur, for being awarded the top prize in the Cavalcade (horse) section of the Battle of Flowers Parade. The judges commented on the lady’s Dresses and the Friesian Horses. We’d like to thank all the participants, but we’d especially like to commend Victoriano Flores for taking charge of the group and his arm of iron for the way he kept his rope working. The presentation was greatly enhanced by Rogelio Cruz, who’s gymnastic florero was really impressive. If you want to see a picture of him, look at the slide show of the parade on mysantontio.com. It was really great seeing so many teams working together to support charreria.
